Other Than Smart...

              Scientists are brave. They do things that we would never do. The have to work with dangerous items that could harm them or possibly kill them. They may also to work on something that if they mess up the whole project is messed up. Meaning they would have work slowly and cautiously. I would never be able to do that.

              Scientists are also persistent. When something happens that makes what they're doing harder, they don't give up. They keep at it. When people tell them they're crazy or wrong, they ignore it and keep pushing through. They don't let others change their minds and bring them down. They never give up.

              Scientists are finally hard workers. Like I said before, they never give up. They work hard at things, even if it takes them years to accomplish. And in the end, they make a difference in the world, whether it's small or big, they help.

The picture shown above is what you tend to think of a scientist. To you a scientist is probably an old crazy man with a lap coat and chemicals. But, a scientist can be so much more that that.
